Luigi Scavino is the cousin of legendary Enrico Scavino, he used to produce his Barolo’s in a very modern style with new oak. Today very little new oak is used and large Botti’s are a more common sight. This wine is all about crushed roses, cherry and perfumed incense spice. The palate has so many flavours; black cherry, red plum, curry leaf and lovely crunchy tannins. Pour a glass let it breathe and serve with roasted meats.
