This is a wine that will surprise and delight. From a tiny producer whose vineyard is close to the sea, on limestone soil and surrounded by trees and bush. For a region that should be far too hot to produce pinot noir with any freshness this wine has a lovely acidity. It is all about soft ripe fruits, cherry, violet, coffee and nutmeg with a touch of blueberry. The palate is juicy and vibrant with raspberry and delicate tannins. This is a joy to drink and will pair wonderfully with rabbit.
