The vineyards here have been passed down through the generations since 1891. The ‘Jara’ name comes from the gravels that cover the vineyards and provide heat to the vines overnight, as they do in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Pinot Grigio actually has a pinkish skin which, when left in contact with the juice, will leave a pretty pink tinge to the wine. This sparkling wine has delicious notes of cherry, strawberry, peach and delicate white blossoms. The perfect aperitif.
